As we continue to prep for the upcoming gatherings in Lansing, and try to coordinate the Detroit gatherings....
I wanted to let you know that I will be able to focus on these two projects more after this week when my new job is settled.

Oh What a Night!
Around 4pm today, I was working at my desk as the end of week 1 was coming. Melody phoned to tell me that our daughters had left with my sister for the night! So, a little while later we got ready and headed up to Cadillac and ate out at Hermons European Cafe. Spring Hill had given each of us $25 gift certificates for this place at Christmas, but we never get a chance like this to go out.
We both had the special of the night, a T-bone steak with Koniak sauce, grilled garlic, capers, grilled onions and mushrooms. It was probably the very best steak I have ever had! After dinner, we went to the local movie theater and saw "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" - a good movie - and while we were waiting for the movie to start, a couple from Spring Hill sat down behind us! So, we all went out for a cup of coffee afterward and just laughed a lot.
Then, Mel had me stop by a store and picked me up season 4 of Seinfeld for my Father's Day present! Man, this has been a GREAT day!
OH, and if that all isn't good enough, I got 3 new interviews for next week! One is in Grand Rapids, another is in Cadillac and the other is in Traverse City.
Anyway, I just had to post how great this day was. It is so rare for us to have this type of night together. Good night all!

As we expand east-ward through Michigan, we are in need of people that can take on coordinating roles. My prayer is that we launch a new cohort in Detroit this year as well as re-launch this Mid-Michigan group. If you are interested in helping to coordinate these gatherings, please email me.
